About Aparajita Rajamahanty, DPM

Dr. Aparajita Rajamahanty is committed to providing patient-centered foot and ankle care through education, communication and partnership. She combines conservative treatment with advanced surgical and wound-care techniques, with a particular focus on limb preservation and mobility. Her collaborative approach emphasizes evidence-based care, prevention and close coordination with specialists to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Rajamahanty is passionate about community service and improving the health and quality of life of the patients and communities she serves. Dr. Rajamahanty went to medical school at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Ill. She did her residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she was chief resident. Dr. Rajamahanty did a fellowship in wound care and limb salvage also at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. She is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Rajamahanty is licensed to practice in Georgia and South Carolina. She has special interest in diabetic limb salvage and wound care of the foot.
