About James R. Poston, MD

Dr. Ryon Poston received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Poston did an internship in internal medicine from the University of Virginia-Charlottesville, where he also did a residency in neurology and fellowship in neurophysiology. Dr. Poston is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Poston has specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders including muscular dystrophies, inflammatory myopathies, motor neuron diseases and nerve muscle junctions, as well as other neurological disorders.
