Our physician solely dedicated to gynecology is Dr. Barry Schlafstein, who has been in practice for more than 20 years and has devoted his professional life to understanding and treating unique gynecologic needs of women. Dr. Schlafstein is one of the nation’s first physicians to achieve board certification as an OB/GYN with a sub-specialty in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, also known as UroGynecology. In 2021, he fulfilled all the requirements set forth by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and obtained certification for focus practice designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
